sorting more than one column

Help!
I have a database set up for the jobs my company has done. there are
nine columns. I would like to know how to search/sort for more than one
column at a time.

For Example:
The column title are: date, job number, client, site location, city,
state, type of work, x- ref.,and purchase order #.
How can I search/sort for all the jobs with city: Hoboken and
Site:Madison??

mahlegreco,

please note: there are no columns in Access, just fields and
eventually controls :)

Then, where do you want to sort the data? In the table, in a form or
report, in a query, in a datasheet? And did you take a look to the
Find command in the Edit menu, and to the Sort command in the Records
menu? There are also several Help items related to this.

Best regards
