Sorting Objects in Users and Group Permissions

We recently converted to Access XP, and have discovered that the objects in
"Users and Group Permissions" are no longer sorted. In fact, each time we
open the dialog, the objects are in a different order (no apparent logic to
the order).

Has anyone else seen this, and is there a way to sort the objects?

Thanks.

I have to agree with Peg that it does make it a little difficult to find
things (if you have 400 forms say, as in my case). OTOH it's not changed very
often, so seldom that I didn't even know!

Yes, it's the change-rate issue that I had in mind.

I thought, if he doesn't change things very often, who cares about the
bad sort order? Just look through the list 'till he finds what he
wants. Conversely, if he /does/ change things often, there might be a
better way to achieve what he wants, or perhaps he could write a custom
form to facilitate the changes in question.

Cheers,

In this case, it is easier to select the object in the db window, and then
head into the security dialogs (that form will be selected in the list).
