I love the Project Center in Entourage - I think it is just a unique and awesome UI for an app like this.
There is one tweak which I actually think would be pretty simple and really helpful for me. That is the ability to sort the projects in the Project Center View in a couple of key ways.
It is already sorted alphabetically, it would be great to have the options to sort by:
1. Color - I use labels for the status of projects and it would be good to lump all the projects that need attention together and so on.
2. Due Date - As difference projects are due at different times it would be helpful to be able them organized by the ones that are due the soonest or the opposite.
3. Sub Projects / Dividers: This may be harder to implement but it would be helpful to be able to visually organize the projects into sub folders like a) West Coast Clients b) East Coast Clients c) Events d) Conferences, etc. This top level doesn't have to be a project or anything more than a divider that can create these sub divisions to help visually organize the projects going on.
I think these are some visual tweaks that would just continue to make the Project Center one of the most helpful interfaces in organizing information and work.
Of course, the best would be if some sorting function already existed and I've just missed it, so let me know!
