Sorting Problem

I am trying to sort a simply spreadsheet. I've done as
directed - go to one cell in the column I want to sort and
then Data...Sort. The PROBLEM is that the information in
the other columns does NOT transfer and change as well.
No matter what I try I cannot get all the information
across the line to move together when I sort.

HELP please!

You must make sure that the data you want to sort is
highlighted before sorting.

1- Click on a cell that has content.
2- On the Menu Bar, click on Data.
3- Select Sort.
4- You data should be highlighted and a box will appear
with several options. If you have a Header row, select the
Header Row radio button.
5- Choose your sort preferences and click OK.

All the data should sort together.

You need to highlight all of the information, not just the column you wish
to sort on.
