Sorting read from unread mail in Office 2007 deleted folder

Outlook 2003 provided for an "advanced find" which could sort "read" from
"unread" mail that was in the deleted folder. This made final removal easy by
simply finding the "unread' mail in the folder and deleting them again. How
can this be done in Office 2007? I tried with email rules but was not able to
figure it out.

There is usually a default Unread Mail search pre defined in OL2007

Thank you DL. You are correct. The unread mail search folder is a default and
allows me to view all unread messages. Unfortunately, I am looking for unread
only in the deleted folder yet the default collects all the deleted emails
into one location even though the messages may be located in different Mail
folders.
