Sorting subordinates according to specified Field

Hi All,
I am generating an Orgchart from my data in excel. The results in Visio are
always sorted by Name. Is there a way to have the generated chart to be
sorted as we wanted to be, ie sorted by certain field. In my case by shift
My data in excel contains Empl#,Name,Position,Shift,ReportedTo.

Thanks before

An orgchart is "sorted" according to who reports to whom.

It's all about the "reports to" field, or "Superior ID"...

You are right Chris. My objective is to have the subordinates to be sorted by
shift field. The wizard always creates Name sorted chart. Is there any work
around on this? I still don't have any luck yet. Eg.
Name Shift Report to
Andrew A
Marco B Andrew
John B Andrew
Cindy A Andrew
Peter A Andrew

The Chart Wizard result would be:
Andrew
A
Cindy John Marco Peter
A B B A

What I want is: I want Cindy & Peter to close to each other as they are in A
shift and so on. Enlight me please. Thanks, Jim

Does it make a difference if you sort the data in Excel first? I didn't
think the wizard did any sorting at all, just shape dropping and alignment.

Sorry, I just come back. It does not make any difference if I sort in excel
first. It always give the same result! Always arrange by Name! Any idea? Or
probably Microsoft could enlight me here?
TIA
