sorting the display order in custom properties dialog box

I am wondering if there is a way to sort the order of the listing of the
custom properties dialog box. The HELP for Visio says you can put a "1" in
the sort box for the listing that you want first. So, I put numbers in for a
sort order for the manner in which I would like the list to display. But, it
only changes the first entry. Is there a way to control the order of the
list. i.e. be able to select thr listing from top to bottom??

Thanking you in advance for your consideration...

Al,

Yes, I did use 1,2,3 etc the first time. I figured out that they need to be
order 11,12,13,..20,21 etc.... It uses more of a binary sequencing.....

Thank you very much for your response....

Visio *does* do an alphabetic sort here. I've had success working around this
by using [space] 1. Label, -- [space] 9. Label, then 10. Label -- N. Label.
Does that make sense? If you put a space in front of numbers 1 -- 9, all
numbered items will sort properly in the list.

The limitation I've run into is if you have a long list of custom
properties, the dialog box only displays the first 20. Is there a way to
force the dialog box to display all?

The custom properties do have a sort key to force a different sort order.
