Sorting the reource names list

Hi, I'm trying to sort reource names list alphabetically that it will be kept
permanentlly. I tried to sort reource names list on the Resource Sheet and
choose the option to Permanently renumber resources but when I close the
project file and enter to it again. Any ideas ?

Hi Asaf,

You will need to generate a new resource view that is sorted Alphabetically.
If you use Project Server you will need to create this view in the Global
Template to ensure that this change will occur to all Projects.

Marc, thanks for this tip. This works great for the Resource Sheet,
Graph & Usage views. Is there a way to have the resource names appear
alphabetically when assigning them to tasks in the Gantt Chart view
(Gantt Chart view > Windows > Split > Resource Work view)?

I had a look, but it appears that the resources are display in the way you
assign the. There is now way to alphabetaccly sort them
