How do you sort worksheets alphanumerically? I have many many worksheets in one workbook and would like them to be organized so that I can find a particular worksheet quickly and efficiently.

Thank you for your time.

You can't sort the worksheets (change their order). You have to do this
manually. However, if you have that many worksheets, it may help to add a
"navigation" sheet. Enter the names of the sheets, sort them and make them
hyperlinks to the actual sheet,

Hi,

In 2004 you could write an VBA routine to do this, maybe it can be done with
Apple Script in 2008. Unfortunately I don't know (and don't want to learn)
Apple Script.

For what you want try Control/Right-Clicking the navigation buttons on the
left of the sheet tabs, select your target sheet by name. It isn't in alpha
order but it beats scrolling through the tabs.

Additionally, you may want to read up in Help on the subject of Named
Ranges. You can instantly jump to any defined range. Named ranges are listed
in the Name Box in alpha order.
