In Outlook 2003, given that a particular email is selected, when sorting by
subject Outlook should sort all the emails but keep the email selected
highlighted. However, it seems for emails that have a 'FW' or 'RE' at the
beginning of the subject Outlook does not consistently keep the email
highlighted. Instead, Outlook jumps to the top of the email list instead of
highlighting the email originally selected.
Is there something that can be done to prevent Outlook from jumping to the
top of the list of emails when sorted by subject?
(I have a feeling that sorting by 'conversation' should be used instead of
sorting by 'subject' but I am hoping there is a different answer that allows
people to continue sorting by 'subject')
THanks,
