Sound doesn't stop playing on click in a custom show

I have a self-looping custom show with music set to play through 7 of the 10
slides that loop (automatically>after previous>after 7 slides). The looped
intro has a hyperlink on each slide to the other custom show, so that once
the presenters are ready, they can start the main presentation. How can I
make the music stop when that hyperlink is clicked?
