sound files and transitions

I have a one-hour sound file that I attached to a PowerPoint, and am setting
automatic slide transitions to specific time points in the sound file.
However, the sound file disables the transition between the first and second
slides. If I click the down arrow, the slide changes, but the sound goes off.

How do I get the PowerPoint to transtition automatically and the single
sound file to play without interruption during all the slides of the
PowerPoint?

Thanks for that. Now, how do I remove the little horn from the center of the
screen during slide show if the sound file is playing?
