Sound Files Don't Work

I'm using PowerpOint 2003 and in the past I could insert an MP3 sound file
file and have it play during my presentation. Now I get a message that says
"The specified file cannot be played on the specified MCI device. The file
may be corrumpt, not in the correct format, or no fil. I've tried other files
and a new presentation with the same results. What do I need to do to remedy
this?

Easiest solution is to download and re-install the Windows Media Player
which will correct your file associations and codecs.
