Sound from Clip Organizer only plays on most recent slide edited

I have several slides (not consecutive) that I have inserted Sound from the
Clip Organizer to play only during one slide. When I "View Show", only the
slide with the most recently added music actually plays. The other slides
still show the music icon, and also show that the music is part of the Custom
Animation, but the sound is gone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

can you let us know what other animations (with / after previous?) are on
the initial slides and in what order they appear.

Also always helps to state the version you are using

I'm using 2003. On my first slide in my presentation, I've insert a sound
from clip organizer and it's suppose to start on Click, then I inserted the
same sound which starts "after previous", then there is a Trapezoid 5 that
start "with previous", then several other animations after that all to start
"with previous".

On the second slide, I inserted a different sound from the Clip Organizer to
start "after previous", then several animations one after the other all
starting "with previous".

On slide 13, yet another sound is inserted to start "after previous", then
several animations starting "with previous" or "after previous".

As I developed each slide, the sound worked perfectly with the animation as
I intended, however when I was finished with the 3rd slide and went back to
"View Show", the only sound that worked was the last slide I worked on.

And, there has now been a new development since I first wrote in. I saved
my work the day I was having trouble and wrote in to these help pages. And
just now I opened my file and NONE of my sounds are working. Everything is
still listed under Custom Animation as I developed it, and the sound icon is

I've now found the .wav files on my computer and have copied them into the
same folder as my powerpoint file. It is now working. Now just having
trouble finding one of the files.
