sound help please!!

i have made a slide show with effects and 2 songs it works when i preveiw it
and when i put it on a cd it works. When i change it to a web page or a
single web page to put up on the web the sound doesent work when i go to
preview it. it does everything else good and you can see the little sound
clkip that shows its there but it wount play along with all the slides like
it did befor i changed it to a web page file.

ok i did that but when i was all done it had the black box before you click
view show and then the left side was all white and there was nothing to click
i think i have a diffrent verson of power point than what the codes im not
sure i have pp2000

You can check your version of PowerPoint by opening it and going to
Help/About. The version should be listed on the resulting screen.

By the way, most applications will list the version number somewhere on the
Help or Help/whatever-comes-next menu.

ok i have power point office 2003. does that link you gave me work for that
one or are the codes diffrent??i followed all the steps and when i click to
view it there is nothing to click to start it with part of the left side just
all white and it does not start automatically.

Sound in HTML isn't my strong suit.

But I'm pretty sure there are different instructions at that link for
different versions of PPT. You might want to go back and reread it.
