Sound icon

I'm reaching my frustration point!
I'm a novice when it comes to PPS but I have put together some slides
with interesting effects and now I need help with sound.
I don't want the sound icon to show on the slide. How do I get rid of
it?
I have continuous music but it starts on the second slide. How can I
get it to start on the first slide?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Dee,

To prevent the sound icon from appearing on the slide during the show
just move it to a position that's outside the presentation area. It
won't hurt anything being on the slide but not in the view area.

I'm not quite sure I understand the second problem. Was the sound
inserted on the first slide or the second slide?

I don't believe it! That was so simple.

I believe the second problem is caused because there is a short pause
in the midi file before it starts.

Thanks so much for your help.
