sound in powerpoint won't email

i have made a slide presentation and need to mail it to
some family but everytime i mail it the sound is not
there on the slide show, i out it on disc and played it
on there computer but still the songs weren't playing
what am i doing wrong. And how can i get the slide show
to play on a dvd if possible. It is a show of my aunt who
passed away so this is very important if someone can help
me please email me.

Kathy,

Sounds need to be embedded so that they go with the presentation when you
send it. My internet is down (but not, of course, newsgroup access). So
could you please go to:

http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq

And search for something like links break when I move presentation.

That should bring up an article about what is wrong.

Remove spaces from signature

They might not have the codecs on their computer to play
the sound files. If you are using the Powerpoint
Viewer...it might not play the presentation correctly.
Or...the path to the sound file may be too long.
