We have always digitized and created WMVs in house using Cleaner or Popwire.
We are now having issues with WMVs created by someone else using Sorenson
Sqeeze. Now, on certain laptops, often only the sound will play in PPT and
the video will not. Then, other times, the videos play fine.
The only solution we have been able to come up with so far is to reduce
"Hardware Acceleration" to "None" in the Windows display properties settings
(this is different from PPT's Hardware Graphics Acceleration.)
The only problem with this is that it reduces the smoothness of some of our
animations in PPT.
So...has anyone experienced this before? Any other ideas or solutions so
that we can still use these existing Squeeze-made WMVs with confidence?
