When I try to play audio cd, when media player comes up
to play cd, I get message {mci driver id }. Dont know
how to fix this problem. Already tried updating drivers
and also deleted the cd drive and reinstalled.

This has nothing to do with Office. Post to the relevant Windows or
Windowsmedia newsgroup with some bawsic information about what software
versions you are using.
