SP 2 for windows XP make images on Word 2003 disappear

I have a PC with Window XP Professional as OS and Office
2003 installed. It was working fine until I apply the SP2
for the Windows XP. After applied SP2, the images in word
document are disappear (except for those with wrapping
style inline with text).
I have make sure that I am at the correct setting to view
the images: i.e.

1. With print layout
2. Drawing option is turn on in view tab
3. Drawing Objects is turn on in print tab
3. Draft output is turn off in print tab
4. Pictures placeholder is turn off in view tab

if I right click at the image and do some change to the
setting (maybe just change and change back at the same
time with no actual change) then the image will reappear.

Remove the SP2 for windows XP but the problem stay.
Search the knowledgebase but no answer. Any one can help?
