Hi everyone,
Using Access 2003. My IS department completed Office updates with sp3. In
my database, I have a combo box with 4 columns to look up names. When the
user clicks on the name when found it will go to that record. The first 3
fields show when this is used. The 4th column is the bound field (pk ID for
this record). Since the update, the 3rd column is visable but the first 2
are not. I looked around and found this is a bug with the sp3 update. I
really don't understand all that the kb article is telling me. Has anyone
had this problem and how difficult was it to fix? Can anyone exlpain in
simple terms what's going on and how hard is it to fix? My OS is Windows xp
pro, could a system restore fix this by removing sp3? The database is on a
network and the other users have not had the update so their combo boxes are
working fine. I don't want to mess up the database on their ends by fixing
it on mine.
Thanks,
Linda
