SP-3 Upgrade

Our IT department installed the the Office 2000 SP3
upgrade last weekend. When the upgrade was complete all
of our file created on dates changed to the date and time
of the upgrade. Is there any way to get the actual
created on dates back? It did not touch the last accessed
or last modified dates, however. We use the created on
dates quite a bit when searching. Thanks in advance.

Hi Kevin,

Hmmm, do you know what the process was that they
used? It sounds like they may have offloaded files
and copied them back with a utility where they didn't
preseve the file dates but instead used the date of
copy.
