SP1 for Trial Version

I have just installed the 60 day trial version. I cannot
install SP1. I downloaded both versions of this, but when
trying to install either one it says it did not find the
expected version of One Note.

had same problem. Solution remove onenote via add/remove
program. re-install original onenote (will need CD +
product Number) then instal SP1.

Worked for me and it kept all my original files although I
did do a backup just in case.

Didn't you notice he said "trial version"? I assume the trial version was
probably downloaded, so he wouldn't have a CD nor CD key.

He could still uninstall, re-install from the downloaded set-up file (if he
still has it), then try SP1.

It's quite possible, however, that SP1 just won't update the trial version.
That is quite common with trial versions, that updates don't work on them.

You should verify the version number in "Help->About". If it mentions 6360,
then you already have the SP1 version.

Hope this helps,
