sp1 office 2007

I downloaded office 2007 sp1 and tried to install it. However I got a error
message from the installation : failled to install sp1. So I tried to update
to sp1 by microsoft update and I got a new error : code 57a.

Therefore, I decided to uninstall microsoft office ultimate 2007 to make a
new clean install. As a reseult, I got error 1402 during the process : can
open this registry key .... make sure you have enought rights... I went into
regedit put the permission at everyone regarding this key. But it looks like
I have to do that to all the keys in regedit.

Does somebody know a way to install office 2007 without error 1402.

So far my office doesn't work no more because I tried to uninstall it. When
I tried to reinstall or repair it, I got the error message 1402 again.
