SP1 Patch

SP1 Patch is giving me the following error code

C:\config.Msi\PT96tmp can not be modified by this patch
and my update stops, I can not load any other patches and
have download SP1 and SP2 for the fixes needed by Outlook
XP to run my mail client.

Any Help
