SP2 available via CD not download

H

HS

When I tried to upgrade my Windows XP to SP2, it was so large that at my
connection speed of 56K dialup my connection kept timming out. I was able to
find an option to get WIN XP SP2 via CD by mail. I ordered the CD (no charge
by the way) and installed update SP2 for WIN XP.

I have run Microsoft Office Update. The SP2 update is 46,036 KB in size and
requires a download time of 154 min. @ my connection speed (ie. 49.2 kbs).

Is Office SP2 available on CD? If NOT, then can I go to a different
computer and download SP2 (DSL connection) save download, burn to a CD, bring
it back to my computer and install?

CDs for SPs are made available, on a regional basis, about 4-6 weeks after
the downloadable option. Check with your regional Microsoft subsidiary for
availability. It is up to them to make this available.

I just searched Microsoft's web site(s) and found where the Service packs can
be ordered. I have just ordered SP3 for Office 2003.

Thank you for your assistance.
