SP2 -- can't get it to update!

I've got Word 2000 and Excel 2000 on XP Home. I have the disks from
Microsoft to install Office SP1, SP2, and SP3. I managed to get Word
& Excel updated to SR1. I tried to install Office SP2. When I click
on Word or Excel, About, it still says they are v.SR1.

How do I get Office SP2 to install? Is there a way I can check some
of the files and see if they are Office SP2?

install sp3. it includes all of the updates from sp2 and sp1. SR1 is service
release 1, which must be installed before the service packs. I'm not sure it
will show that the service packs are installed, but if it doesn't show any
error messages, you should be all right.
