SP2 for Office Mac

Hello all,
Wondering if someone can please help out with an issue I'm having. I
have a G5 connected to a W2K3 domain however Entourage cannot see the
Global Address book which means the user has to manually type in the
email address even for internal staff. I found the Service Pack 2
online and one of the key issues that it appears to address is the
problem I'm encountering. I downloaded SP2 and tried to install it
however the G5 dispplays an error message along the lines that a
correct version was not found! I checked the Read Me included with SP2
and the only specifications that it outlines is that the Mac version
has to be higher than 10.2.8 (the Mac is 10.4.7) and that Office 2004
has to be closed which it is. I'm not too sure what is causing this
error message to appear. Has anyone experienced this problem of do you
know what is causing it?

I look forward to any replies.

Thank you.

Can you say what version of Entourage you are running? (the 'about' box
should give a version & build number).

In the 'compose' pane of Entourage prefs there is an option to 'check
directory services when addressing mail' - is that checked?
