SP2 for Outlook 2003 causing Outlook to close after "send/receive"

Hi all,

My Outlook 2003 always close by itself automatically after I've done a
"Send/Receive" button. This only happens after I have applied my Outlook
2003 SP2 (KB887616) and Junk E-mail Filter Update (KB906173).

Has anyone encounter this before???

No. Do you get any error messages? Does Detect and Repair rectify the
situation?

Thanks Milly,

No error message found. I have tried uninstalling Junk E-mail Filter Update
(KB906173) and your recommended workaround steps and still doesn't work. So
what I did was, I moved all emails and folders of my inbox from Exchange
2003 Server to my personal folders (pst), then the "send and receive" problem
solved.
