SP2a Client Side Controls

We are looking at installing SP2a but have found that it asks users to
re-install the client-side controls after the patch is installed. As
far as I can tell, nothing has changed with the client-side controls
though so why should the controls need to be re-installed.

Does anyone have more info?

To run SP2a safely you need to have SP2 for Project Professional and (I
think) download the controls again. Changes at the server end often requires
client side updates in many applications: Project is no different!.

Thanks, we have now found that in most cases the files are changed and
that the issue lay with the test machine.
