SP2a

I am in the process of upgrading for 2002 to 2003 sp2a. I first upgraded my
SQL2000 database, to 2003, then I upgraded PS to 2003. No connection issues
from PWA. I then upgraded my SQL db to 2003 SP1, then upgraded PS to 2003
SP1, no connection issues, all is fine. I then upgraded my SQL db to 2003 SP2
and all is fine. I then upgraded my PS to 2003 SP2a and it all fell apart.
When logging into PWA I get the log on screen, enter my log on info and get
this error..Site editor says everything is fine.

'null' is null or not an object

Can someone please tell me why this keeps crashing at this stage?
Thanks

I can try to run it again, but its pretty hard to screw it up from the cmd
line. This is the 3rd time I have been down this road and it keeps crashing
PWA after the SP2a patch. If it doesn't work this time, I am going to
uninstall and reinstall again and stop at SP1 this time.

Thanks for the help.

OK. I reran the SP2a db upgrade and that did not help. So I uninstalled MS
Project Server 2003, blowing away both the patches. I left the SQL DB upgrade
in place. I reinstalled only MSP 2003 Server and it worked perfectly. I then
went directly to the MSP 2003 server SP2A upgrade and installed that. Now I
am broke again. I cannot connect through PWA or my client. The client error
message is saying "HTTP 401.2 - Unauthorized: Logon failed due to server
configuration Internet Information Services" which indicates to me that IIS
is no longer config correctly. I have LGNBSC set to basic, LGNPSAU, MSADC and
ISAPI set to Anonymous and Integrated. This has to be a problem with IIS, but
I can't find it.

Anyone have anyother ideas?

Thanks

I didn't see any mention of the WSS portion of the SP2a upgrade in your
posts. This is the final portion of the patch if I remember correctly.
I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it.
