SP3 also Norton Ghost

I have the cd to install Office sp3 but there aren't any instructions with
it. I am obviously a novice so could someone tell me how to install this cd
please? Also I recently installed Norton SystemWorks 2004 specifically to
use Ghost for back up. My backups are failing with eroor code 29004. I've
been told there is a compatibility issue with Ghost and Office does anyone
have any info on that? Any help and/or advice will be appreciated. Janet

Any compatibility issues with Norton products are likely to be dealt with on
Symantec (Norton) site, by an update/fix.
I didnt think that any version of Norton System Works came with Ghost.

Thank you for your response. I have Norton SystemWorks 2004 which has a
version of Ghost included. Unfortunately I have discovered it is version
2003. Since my original post I have ordered the upgrade of Ghost to 9.0.
I'm hoping that will resolve my issue. Again thank you. Janet

Your Office ???? SP 3 CD should start when your insert it in your CD drive.
If it does not, use Start, Run and browse to your CD drive CD drive and run
setup.exe.

Your System Works 2004 contains Ghost 2003. Ghost 2003 reboots your
computer to Chaldra DOS to create the image. Are you getting the error code
during the reboot process? If so, go to Symantec support web site {
http://service.symantec.com/index.html } for help with your error code. I
doubt it is an Office problem Once Ghost 2003 reboots to DOS, what is on
your hard disk including the operating system and any installed applications
has no impact on the image process.

Ghost 2003 is either a bootable CD, provides for the creation of boot
floppies or both {not sure which}. Worse case you can boot to Chaldra DOS
using one of these and do your image.

In another post you state that you are buying Ghost Version 9. The retail
package contains both Ghost Version 9 and Ghost 2003. You did not mention
your versions of Windows. Ghost Version 9 requires Windows 2000 or Windows
XP {Home or Professional}.
