SP3 upgrade has disabled my Outlook

I attempted to install SP3 the other day and found a message
that the upgrade was unsuccessful. Immediately afterwords my Outlook 2002
quit downloading emails and I noticed that the version of Outlook was now a
SP3 version.
After resetting all settings on email and proving they were correct on
another computer, I still couldn't receive email (sending worked). I then
uninstalled the entire MS Office Suite and reinstalled and reset the Outlook
email settings, same result. If I cllick on "Send/Receive" I get a pop-up of
"THE OPERATION FAILED". My current Outlook version is 2002 (10.2627.2625).
I can check emails through my webmail option on my service provider so I know
the emails are going out and lying unchecked in my box. Any suggestions?

Try creating a new mail profile and configure it to use your current .pst
file. Do not copy the old profile, it is corrupt.
