In W2002 I am creating a table style for the first time. Within the style
dialog box, I selected Entire Table and then selected Format, Paragraph and
specified to center the paragraphs, put 1 pt space before and 1 pt space
after. I then set all other formatting that I wanted for the table, heading
row, etc.
Everything seems to work except the space after. The space after remains
whatever it was for the style of the paragraph where I inserted the table.
For example, in a blank Normal style paragraph, I inserted a new table with
the new table style. It put 1 pt of space before each the paragraph in each
cell but left the space after as 12 pt. When I started with a blank
paragraph formatted with a style that had 10 pt after, then the table had 1
pt before (as it should) but 10 after.
What am I doing wrong?
TIA,
