Space between columns

B

Brian

I am using Word 2002, and XP.
I have created a table, but I want to have the columns
separated by space so that they print out correctly on my
label sheet, and so that when I copy text into the table
it is aligned properly (nothing pasted into the thinner
spacer columns). When I use the Table Properties->
Options choice to leave space between cells, it puts the
same amount of space around ALL the sides, thus the
vertical alignment is thrown off. Is there any way to
create individual cell or columns spacing, or a way to
mark certain cells as 'dead' space so nothing is pasted
into them?
Thanks for the help!
Brian

You can use the cell margins settings or apply left/right indents to the
paragraphs.
