<space> injected in eMail addresses

Anybody got any advice about this problem?

I will reply to an eMail and mysteriously the reply will bounce because the
return eMail address has been corrupted.

For example. Let¹s say I receive an eMail where ³mary ellen²
<[email protected]> is a cc addressee. I reply all and see ³mary ellen²
in the address list. However her return eMail address now looks like ³mary
ellen² <marye (e-mail address removed)>. The eMail server sees this address as marye
and bounces it.

Any ideas how to overcome this?
