Spaces for Tabs -- and -- fixed width fonts

T

Tom McKnight

1. How do I set word to insert space characters when I hit
the TAB key, instead of inserting a tab character.
2. I am editing text documents. How do I set my font to a
fixed width font?

1. There is no built-in way to do this, but you could use Find and Replace
to replace ^t (a tab character) with, say, five spaces.

2. You can select Courier New, Letter Gothic, or another monospaced font
from the Font menu.
