Spaces in field values.

Hi. I know that spaces in field names is a bad idea. However, I was
wondering if that still applies to the actual values in a field. I have a
text field which lists change order numbers. Is there any reason that having
the value of "178 CO #1" is worse than "178-CO#1"? Thanks, as always!

In a text field, a 'space' is just another character...

That said, extra spaces at the beginning or end may be "squeezed out"
without impact, right?

No, spaces in the value of a field are fine -- so long as they don't lead to
confusion when people are trying to look up a particular value, and can't
get the spaces right.
