Spacing between words in WORD 98

I am having problems with the look of my documents in WORD 98. On
screen all looks fine, but when I print it seems the spacing between
the words is quite varied. Using the font VERDANA the writing looks
very unprofessional, especially anything in bold type. I can see no
formatting that could be causing this. With ARIAL the problem is still
there but not as pronounced. Any ideas?

Do other fonts look OK? Both Ariel and Verdana were specifically designed
for onscreen viewing. I can't say that I would ever use them for printed
copy. However, if other fonts are misbehaving too, a little more
information might be helpful.

What operating system are you using? What printer driver and what printer?
Are you using paragraph justification?
