spam filter removed by installing Onenote beta 2

Slightly odd effect of installting OneNote2007 beta2 and the desktop search
beta2 appears to be that I'e been getting spam which I know was previously
going straight into a Junk folder - however I've had to re-identify quite a
number of email addresses as Junk. It seems like a verrry odd set of
circumstances but the sort of thing that a beta is supposed to identify.
Anyone else share this?

If you install OneNote 2007 with Outlook 2003 installed, the Junk Mail filter
no longer works.

Does it work again after either or both of the following:
a) deactivate the OneNote Add-in
b) Deactivate the filter, close Outlook and reactivate it again
