spam filtering out of control

I have several iMac's running Entourage 2004. About 3 weeks ago a lot
of email started showing up in junkmail. I had junk email setting to
low in entourage. I edited the white lists and still puts some of them
in junk. I can move junk to deleted items and they get copied back to
junk! I turned off the built in junk email filter by setting it to
NONE. Still good email going into junk.
I am connected to a hosted exchange service. I can go to Outlook
webaccess and uncheck scan for spam. I also can turn off the service
providers spam filter - spamstopper. Whether i turn it off or on stuff
is still going to junk.

Is there a basic junk filtering built in to Entourage or Office that i
do not have shut off? I spoke to the service provider and they of
course say its Entourage?

Please help as this is driving me and the family nuts!

And they might be correct in this case. Go to Tools>Mailing List Manager and
see if you have not inadvertently created a mailing list rule that
automatically moves your incoming mail. Creating such a rule is quite easily
done by marking a "junk" message as "not junk" and then selecting the wrong
option in the window that shows up immediately afterwards. If there are any
MLM rules, disable or delete them and see if that solves your problem.

Hmm, strange. Have you checked your regular rules (Tools>Rules) to see if
there's not by chance a rule in there that causes the problems? Apart from
that, I don't really know what else to suggest. You might want to read the
following article on the Entourage Help Page to see if you have made any
changes to Entourage's built-in junk detection tools:

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/rules/junk/junk_faqs.html>

Just to be clear.... Under Tools in the menu bar select Mailing List
Manager. Check for any rules listed.
