Spam from using Goggle usenet groups

Hi,

The spelling here may be off because I have a generic problem with my
computer & with Entourage. I set up this anti spam account in Entourage just
to avoid usenet exposure in order to write this question.

My computer & Entourage have generic problems and I used Google usenet
groups to post a question through to the NG. Bad move. I then read that
posting to Google use net groups exposed me to spam, and that's just what
happened. I've got lots of it, and it keeps coming in, not just in the spam
folder, but also in Inbox.

I'm emailing on sbc/abc web mail, except for this email to the NG.

Is there a way to stop spam from coming to my email addresses?

Once your address has been harvested, you have the choice to beef up your
spam filtering or get a new email address.

Gmail has excellent spam filtering built into their accounts. You could
forward the problem email to a new Gmail account and that would take care of
your spam.

If you want to use a web interface to this newsgroup, use the Mactopia
interface. It hides your email from the web.
