Use a spam blocking program. There are a number of them out there available
for download from the Net. Open your Internet browser and in the address
bar type
www.google.com. This will open Google, the most popular search
engine on the Net. (Save this site in your Favorites list or bookmark it if
you're using Netscape as your browser. You'll want to have this available
for future use.)
Once you get into Google's website, type something like 'spam blockers',
'spam busters', 'stop spam', etc. From the results presented you can go the
websites listed and learn more about the various programs.
I like Cloudmark's Spam Net but be forewarned; they've started to charge for
their service. There are others out there that are still free. For
recommendations try going to
www.cnet.com or
www.downloads.com to name a
couple and search around.
