Spam

For some reason, some incoming messages are sent to a Spam folder. How do I
stop this from occurring as there are some message, such as news alerts from
CNN, that I do not want to go into the Spam folder. I have tried adding them
to a safe sender list, but that doesn't seem to work. I would just as soon
delete the whole spam operation altogether.

Any ideas?

Outlook does not have a "Spam" folder. Outlook 2003 has a "Junk E-mail"
folder, but prior versions of Outlook do not. It sounds like you may have
an add-in antispam application.

Right on, Brian! After your response, I noticed two icons on a toolbar
stating Spam and Not Spam.

Now, I have to figure out how it got there because I did not intentionally
load an add-in. And, I don't see it when I look in Control Panel, Add/Remove
Programs.

Click Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options and in the COM Add-ins and Add-In
Manager windows, see if you find the add-in.

Mystery solved. I looked where you told me and found PAV as an add-in. We
use Panda Anti-Virus and that installed the Spam Add-In. Thanks for your
help.
