How do I filter out e-mails with adult content words in
the body of the e-mail?

I continue to add to my junk senders and adult content
lists. I have the feature turned on so these lists are
looked at, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I've tried modifying the c:\program files\microsoft
office\office\filters.txt file buy adding additinal words
but it doesn't make a difference.

Thanks,
Lionel

That can get old real fast....
Are you setting up rules to block the emails ? Rules, especially when you
are looking for certain words in the body of the text on my system (2003)
and older ones and also Outlook Express, seem to just sometimes skip
checking and get thru anyway. However if you cut and paste the words into
the rule, I find that works better as many of them will spell P0RNO (second
letter a Zero) or do a similar trick with a foreign letter that looks the
same, you also have to have both capital and lower case as the rules are not
smart enough to figure those out.
I have gotten my porn mail to maybe one per week now (Instead of 10 per day)
and only about one of those fake Microsoft emails makes it thru each day.

Those fake ms mails really suck. I do hpe that BillyBoy is doing something
about them with all the cash he fleeces from us!

Those and the stupid "I am sorry your message to xxxxxxx could not be
delivered" Yikes if I get a pile of those and the fake Microsoft ones, it
takes forever to download all of them with the 150KB or so attachment on it.
I hope that Bill does go after them a bit more, they almost seem to ignore
them and see "we cannot do anything" Which might be true with them coming in
from all over the place, but I would think a patch for outlook and outlook
express could sure take care of it.
My 2 cents.

I have set up some rules, but I didn't know that I could
add specific words (e.g. Porno) in the rule.
Thanks for the info, I'll try it.

Just click on the Rules wizard and where it has the part about "receiving
specific words" click on that and it will open another box and you can add
any words you want it to look for

How, pray tell, is BillyBoy supposed to do anything about them, when they
originate in countries like Korea and Brazil?
