when in powerpoint and typing in spanish, how can i add
the punctuation on top of the letters lik ~ over then N or
the ` over the O?

Hold down the Alt key, and on your numeric keypad enter 0209 for Ñ, or 0241 for ñ, 0210 for Ò or 0242 for ò
