Is there a way to insert the symbols for "element of",
union, subset, and "for each" or "for every" directly
from the keyboard (in Word 2003 on Win XP Pro)?
For example, they symbol for intersection is easy to
insert by typing the 4 digit number 2229 followed
by Alt+x.
Also, as a separate issue, I've been using the
included Equation Editor recently and I'm quite
pleased with it. However, it does not translate
well to web pages. Also, if you go to wikipedia
and look at equations, such as at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stirling's_approximation
you discover that those equations are actually
images and not html. Question, is there a
(preferably free) online editor for generating html
for equations?
Thanks,

PS. There's probably a better group for this, but
this one has been helpful in the past
