Special Characters such as öäü

Good morning!

Hopefully a small problem - linking a DBase 5 table into
Access XP causes that the special characters (such as the
German öäü or French éàè) are not correctly shown resp.
replaced by another character.

Do I need a special international driver to link a DBase 5
table?
