Special Characters

Austin.Pollet

I am working with Powerpoint on a Mac, and for some reason, the
special characters are showing up as black boxes instead of actual
characters. These special characters are mainly math functions and
Greek letters. I know it works fine on a PC, but can a Mac not read
these certain characters?

I am hoping there is some sort of file that I can download in order to
correct this. Does anyone know about this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Austin,

chances are the 'font' used to display these special math characters are not
installed on your mac computer.

That's why they are being displayed as boxes.

Either try and use a font that resides both on the mac and the pc, or
install the same font on your mac.

cheers
