Special characters

Welsh is probably the Oldest European language but not supported by in lists of Special Characters is seems
Need to type W and Y with accents without having to resort to COPY/PASTE.
ANY IDEAS THAT WILL WORK - particularly in Excel.
I know that lower case letters will work in Word with ALT X added after inserting 0175 or 0177, so how about UPPER CASE characters?

May have finally found a possible solution.
Installed 'To Bach' - a Welsh language Utility programme.
So - in Excel, I Press CTL and ALT Gr and then the letter I want to have a circumflex accent placed over.
ŵŴŷŶ - IT EVEN WORKS in this post as you can see with the most difficult of letters!!
